I have a mortgage with a bank. The renters left and I have no way of covering the mortgage until I get new renters. The bank took the mortgage out of my checking account. If I close this checking account and open another one at a different bank can they access my new checking account to get their funds.Submited by:Martha B

I have 20+ negative accounts on my credit, about half are paid in full or paying as agreed, however there are a lot of things that are still outstanding (as in collections)! I have about 12 hard looks or whatever at my credit! And I have 1 good standing account and that’s it! Sad huh! Well I would really like to try and pay everything on my credit off and get in good standing with everyone but of course it’s not like I’m rich or I wouldn’t be in this prediciment! So if anyone knows of anyway I could get a personal loan so that I can pay off my stuff and work on building better credit please please please let me know!Submited by:Jenn

I am looking into buying a small business just outside of Denver, Colorado but I have no idea where to start as far as getting a loan. I have good credit but would only be able to come up with $2,000 -$3,000 up front cash. As far as assetts, I have virtually nothing. Is a business loan even an option in this situation? I need a loan for about $230,000. The business I am looking into buying is well established and very lucrative would this factor into the loan situation?
How do I close empty credit card accounts?

I have recently checked my credit report and I realized I had several credit card accounts which were unused for several years running with a zero balance for some time.
I would like to close them to resolve my accounts and improve my overall credit.
I have to admit that some of the credit companies are quite odd (not cititbank or MBNA) but smaller credit houses from obscure stores I once purchased something to earn the 10% off etc.
How do I go about contacting the credit card companies to close these empty accounts?Submited by:atg28
